Plataforma Boliviana de Acción frente al Cambio Climático (PBACC)

The Bolivian Platform for Action on Climate Change (PBACC), established in 2017, is a national network of young professionals and students from diverse academic backgrounds, active across Bolivia’s nine departments. Emerging from training initiatives by the Jubileo Foundation and Hanns Seidel Foundation, PBACC aims to promote environmental awareness and influence climate action at national and international levels. Its efforts include environmental education, scientific research, public engagement, and advocacy. The organization’s core focus areas are resilience to climate change, sustainable communities, integrated waste management, food security, climate governance, biodiversity conservation, and water resource management. Through these areas, PBACC fosters inclusive climate solutions, emphasizing youth participation, sustainable practices, and the protection of natural resources.
